Welcome to the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall
The Kinsmen club in Cornwall has a rich history, for 83 years, dedicated to 'Serving the Community's Greatest Need' since 1933. As one of Cornwall’s premiere service clubs the Kinsmen are known to support many organizations and events in Cornwall and SD&G such as Kinsmen Minor Soccer, Kinsmen Music Festival, Kinsmen Girl’s Hockey, Kinsmen Girls minor Softball, Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of SD&G and the Big Brothers/Big Sisters, to name a few.
Yearly on our anniversary in February, we participate in Kin Canada’s National day of KINdness which we send out our members to participate in events around the city. The last 2 years we have partnered with the Kinette club of Cornwall and were able to put many smiles on many faces in the Cornwall area. Stay tuned this year as we will be promoting Kinsmen Day’s of KINdness throughout the year.
Kinsmen club consists of a group of like-minded men who enjoy “Serving the Communities Greatest Needs”. Our club is part of a National Organization, Kin Canada, which is comprised of various clubs all across Canada. These clubs include Kinsmen Clubs, Kinette Clubs, Kin Clubs and most recently Campus Clubs. Throughout its history the “Family of Kin” has raised over one billion dollars to support various causes, events and organizations across Canada and in particular over 40 million dollars for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) research.
If you would like to learn more about any of the clubs please head over to our contact form and drop us an e-mail. We would enjoy having you out to a meeting. You will soon see why we have such a rich history, lots of fun, lots of laughter and all to help our community.
In closing, I would like to thank everyone in the Cornwall and SD&G community that have supported the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall over the years either through our weekly TV Bingo or the many other events that have taken place throughout our history. It is truly your support that allows us to “Serve You” and The Community’s Greatest Need!
We hope to see you out at one of the meetings.
Yours in Kin
