President, Kinsmen Club of Cornwall Welcome to the website of the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall. We are a service organization dedicated to “Serving The Community’s Greatest Need”. This service is evidenced in our many service projects that you may be aware of, such as the Kinsmen Pools, Kinsmen Minor Soccer, Kinsmen Music Festival, and Kinsmen Girl’s Hockey; but we are also involved in supporting some “behind the scenes” projects like the Hospital Restructuring, the Boys and Girls Clubs and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. These projects are supported through funds raised by our members and reinvested back into the Community. The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall is a member in good standing of our National Organization, Kin Canada. The association was founded in 1920 in Hamilton by Hal Rogers, a decorated Canadian War Veteran. The family of Kin encompasses clubs all across our great Nation. These clubs include Kinsmen Clubs (men only), Kinette Clubs (women only) and Kin Clubs (Co-ed). Since our founding, the Family of Kin has raised in excess of one billion dollars for the people of Canada! In addition to our local causes, the Family of Kin is also been one of the largest supporters of Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Since 1964 the Family of Kin has donated over thirty seven million dollars to this cause. The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall has been supporting the community for over 77 years and is comprised of community minded men over the age of 18. In addition to the service that we provide to the community, membership in the family of Kin also includes great opportunities for personal development, business networking, and most importantly, FUN. We offer a dynamic, exciting opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and help to support his great community we live in.
